Terms of Service
Last Updated: June 24, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "you," or "your") and DoubleU Labs, LLC ("DoubleU Labs," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the StatFlow metrics platform, including all APIs, dashboards, and related software (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or otherwise indicating acceptance, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. The Service
StatFlow is a hosted metrics ingestion, storage, visualization, and monitoring platform. The Service includes a web dashboard, developer HTTP API, optional embeddable JavaScript SDK, custom dashboards, threshold and anomaly alerts, team collaboration on eligible plans, and optional AI-assisted analysis on paid plans.
Core capabilities include, without limitation:
- metric ingestion via API (single points, batches, and imports) with plan-based rate limits
- stat management, CSV/JSON export, optional metadata labels on data points, and annotations
- custom dashboards with configurable tiles and optional public sharing via URL
- alerts (threshold, rate-of-change, deadman/no-data, and natural-language rules on eligible plans)
- alert delivery via email and user-configured webhooks (Slack, Discord, generic HTTPS, PagerDuty)
- team seats, invites, and role-based access on Team and certain paid plans
- rolling retention windows that vary by subscription plan
Certain paid plans include optional AI-powered features (for example, statistical anomaly detection, data-quality watchdog, natural-language alert compilation, forecasting overlays, scheduled insight digests, and Team-only root-cause summaries). AI features are off by default and require you to enable them in Settings → AI. See Section 7 and our Privacy Policy for how Customer Data is processed when AI is enabled.
We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide at least thirty (30) days' notice prior to any material discontinuation.
3. Accounts and Security
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering for an account.
3.1 Authentication
You may sign in with an email and password and/or, where enabled, third-party sign-in such as Google SSO. When you use Google SSO, we receive basic profile information from Google (such as your email address and name) to create or link your account, subject to Google's terms and our Privacy Policy.
3.2 API Keys
API keys authenticate programmatic access to the developer API. Keys may be issued with read and/or write scopes. You are responsible for all API activity performed with your keys. Keys prefixed with sf_ must be kept secret and rotated if compromised.
3.3 Team Accounts
On eligible plans, the account owner may invite additional users ("team members") with assigned roles. The billing account owner controls subscription and billing unless otherwise stated. Team members access Customer Data within the shared account according to their role. You are responsible for invitations you send and for ensuring invitees are authorized to access your organization's data.
You are solely responsible for:
- maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and API keys
- all activities conducted through your account, including by team members you authorize
You agree to notify us immediately at support@doubleulabs.com of any unauthorized use or security breach.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or present security risks.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- violate any applicable law or regulation
- infringe intellectual property or other rights
- transmit malicious code or harmful content
- attempt unauthorized access to systems or infrastructure
- interfere with or disrupt the Service
- bypass rate limits or security controls
- resell or sublicense the Service without authorization
- process or store personal data in violation of applicable law
- access or extract data beyond your authorized scope
- enable AI features on Customer Data you do not have the right to share with third-party AI providers, or submit sensitive regulated data to AI features without appropriate authorization
We may suspend or terminate access for violations without prior notice.
5. Fees and Payment
5.1 Billing
The Service may be offered on a subscription basis. All fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law.
By providing a payment method, you authorize us to charge applicable fees.
5.2 Pricing Changes
We may modify pricing with at least thirty (30) days' notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
5.3 Failed Payments
If payment fails and is not resolved within seven (7) days, we may suspend or downgrade your account.
5.4 Free Tier
The Hobby (free) tier is provided "as-is" without service guarantees and may be modified or discontinued at any time.
5.5 Plans and Usage Limits
Paid and free plans include limits on stats, data points per month, alerts, team seats, API throughput, data retention, and (on eligible plans) AI invocations per month. Current limits are described on our pricing and billing pages and may change with notice as provided in Section 5.2. We enforce limits in software; exceeding limits may result in throttling, rejected requests, or required upgrade.
5.6 Plan Changes, Downgrades, and Cancellation
Upgrades may take effect immediately. Downgrades between paid tiers or cancellation of a paid subscription may be scheduled for the end of the current billing period. When you downgrade or cancel, features and limits associated with your prior plan may cease at the effective date. You can manage subscription changes through the billing portal or plan controls in the dashboard where available.
6. Data Rights
6.1 Customer Data
You retain all rights to data submitted to the Service ("Customer Data").
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process Customer Data solely to operate and provide the Service, including AI-powered features you enable as described in Section 7.
6.2 Data Retention and Deletion
Metric data is retained on a rolling windowbased on your plan (for example, seven days on Hobby, up to multiple years on paid plans). Data older than your plan's retention window is excluded from queries and may be permanently deleted. Deleted stats may remain recoverable from trash for a limited period before permanent removal.
We may delete Customer Data after account termination in accordance with our retention policies. You are responsible for exporting your data prior to termination or before retention windows expire.
6.3 Aggregated Data
We may use aggregated and anonymized data for analytics, benchmarking, and product improvement. Such data will not identify you.
6.4 Public Dashboards and Embeds
You may choose to publish dashboards via a public URL or embed charts using our SDK. Public sharing is opt-in. Anyone with the link (or access to a page where you embed content) may view the exposed metrics without authentication. You are solely responsible for what you publish publicly and for disabling public access when it is no longer appropriate.
6.5 Alert Delivery and Integrations
When you configure alert notifications, you may direct us to send alert payloads to email addresses or third-party endpoints you specify (such as Slack, Discord, generic HTTPS webhooks, or PagerDuty). You represent that you have authority to send data to those destinations and that doing so complies with applicable law and the policies of the receiving service.
7. AI Features
7.1 Opt-In, Plans, and Eligibility
AI features are optional, plan-gated, and disabled by default for new accounts. Availability varies by plan (for example, root-cause summaries may require Team). Monthly AI invocation limits apply on eligible plans. You must affirmatively enable AI in Settings → AI before account-level AI processing occurs; individual features may have additional toggles. You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit Customer Data to AI features, including any personal or confidential information contained in metric names, metadata, or alert text.
AI-related features may include:
- statistical anomaly detection and anomaly summaries
- reporting cadence / data-quality watchdog alerts
- natural-language alert rule compilation
- forecast overlays and pace summaries
- scheduled AI insight digest emails
- cross-stat root-cause analysis (where enabled for your plan)
7.2 Third-Party AI Providers
When you use AI features, we use one or more third-party AI providers (such as large language model API services) to analyze Customer Data and generate outputs. We do not operate those models ourselves. Provider names, regions, and subprocessors may change over time; material changes will be reflected in our Privacy Policy.
7.3 Data Sent for AI Processing
By enabling or using AI features, you instruct us to transmit relevant Customer Data to third-party AI providers for inference and evaluation. Depending on the feature and context, this may include:
- stat names, numeric values, timestamps, and metadata you ingest
- samples or aggregates of time-series data for specific stats or dashboards
- alert names, thresholds, natural-language rule text, and firing context
- anomaly events, watchdog gaps, and related diagnostic context
- account-level context needed to produce digests or summaries (for example, stat counts or plan limits)
Some features process a subset of your data (for example, a single stat or alert). Others may require a broader set of Customer Data—potentially including most or all metrics associated with your account—to produce account-level insights, digests, or cross-stat analysis. We send the minimum we reasonably believe is necessary for each feature, but you should assume that enabling AI may expose substantial portions of your Customer Data to third-party providers.
7.4 Outputs and Your Responsibilities
AI outputs are generated probabilistically and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your use case. They are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional, legal, financial, or operational advice. You are solely responsible for reviewing AI outputs before acting on them (including configuring alerts, paging on-call staff, or making business decisions).
7.5 Disabling AI
You may disable account-level AI features at any time in Settings → AI. Disabling AI stops new AI processing but does not delete data already transmitted to providers prior to disablement, except as described in our Privacy Policy or required by applicable law.
8. Availability
The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Any uptime targets are goals only and not contractual guarantees.
9. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in the Service remain with DoubleU Labs.
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
10. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to protect the other's confidential information and use it solely for purposes related to the Service.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE MAKE NO WARRANTY REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF AI-GENERATED OUTPUTS, AND WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT AI FEATURES WILL DETECT EVERY ANOMALY, INCIDENT, OR THRESHOLD BREACH.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
- (A) AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS, OR
- (B) $100 USD
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DoubleU Labs from claims arising out of:
- your use of the Service
- your violation of these Terms
- your violation of law or third-party rights
- your Customer Data
14. Termination
You may terminate at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access immediately for violations or risk to the Service.
Upon termination:
- access ceases immediately
- certain provisions survive (including liability, IP, and indemnification)
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.
Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration under AAA rules.
You waive participation in class actions.
